1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you use the Dely Cart mobile application and related B2B services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
2. Information we collect
2.1 You provide — name, email, mobile number, and account credentials (passwords are stored hashed on our systems); business name; GST and FSSAI-related information you submit; address fields (e.g. city, state, pincode, delivery or business address); documents and images you upload for verification or KYC (e.g. certificates, shop photo, ID); and messages you send when you contact support.
2.2 Automatically — service usage and activity signals (including timestamps such as last activity where applicable); device and technical data needed for security and reliability; order, cart, and transaction-related data processed through our systems.
2.3 Optional permissions — if you allow them: location (for relevant content or delivery-related experiences); camera or photo library (for uploads); microphone only where a feature you use requires audio. You can revoke permissions in your device settings.
2.4 On your device — we may store tokens or preferences locally so you can stay signed in. You may clear app data from device settings.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage accounts and authenticate users.
- To operate the B2B marketplace: listings, cart, checkout, orders, and delivery coordination.
- To verify businesses and meet legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
- To communicate about orders, service updates, and support.
- For security, fraud prevention, and enforcement of our terms.
- To comply with law and protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal basis (India)
We process personal data as necessary to provide the Services, perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests (such as security and service improvement), consistent with applicable Indian law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies.
5. Sharing
We may share information with service providers (e.g. hosting, messaging, maps, payments) under appropriate contracts; with maps providers when you use map features; with authorities when required by law; and with professional advisers where necessary, subject to confidentiality.
6. Retention and inactive accounts
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law.
Inactive accounts: If your account has no sign-in or recorded service activity for 30 consecutive days, we may delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data associated with that account, except where we must retain certain records for legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory reasons (for example, invoices or transaction records). After deletion or anonymisation, we may retain aggregated statistics that do not identify you.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; please use strong passwords and keep your device secure.
8. Your choices and rights

9. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Third-party services
The app may link to third-party sites or services governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
